This Privacy Policy explains how Easy Loan Finance Australia
(“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your personal
information. We are an Australian mortgage broking business (ABN 43 212 597 780).
We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information we collect

  • Contact & enquiry details you provide through our website
    forms, phone, email, or social media — such as your name, email address,
    phone number and the details of your loan enquiry.
  • Financial information you choose to provide when you engage us
    as your broker (e.g. income, expenses, assets, liabilities) — collected only
    with your consent to assess and arrange finance.
  • Messages you send us on Facebook and Messenger (see Section 2).
  • Website usage data such as cookies and analytics, to operate
    and improve our website.

2. Facebook Pages & Messenger

We operate the Facebook Pages “Easy Loan Finance Australia” and
“Ryan Vu – Mortgage Broker”. When you send a message to one of these
Pages via Facebook Messenger, we receive, through Meta’s Messenger Platform:

  • your public Facebook profile name and profile picture;
  • a Page-scoped user ID (an identifier specific to your conversation with our Page); and
  • the content of the messages you send us.

We use an automated messaging assistant to respond to Page
messages. The assistant replies in your own language, answers general questions about
our mortgage broking services, and invites you to book a consultation with our broker.
The automated assistant does not provide personalised financial or credit
advice and does not quote interest rates — it provides general information
only and directs you to a licensed broker. We only send you messages in response to a
message you have sent us, within Meta’s standard messaging window. We do not send
unsolicited or promotional messages through Messenger.

Your use of Facebook and Messenger is also governed by
Meta’s Privacy Policy.

3. How we use your information

  • to respond to your enquiries and provide our mortgage broking services;
  • to assess your borrowing needs and arrange finance with lenders on your behalf
    (only when you engage us);
  • to communicate with you about your enquiry or application;
  • to meet our legal, regulatory and compliance obligations.

4. Disclosure of your information

We may disclose your personal information to:

  • lenders and credit providers, our aggregator and mortgage panel, where necessary
    to assess or arrange a loan you have asked us to arrange;
  • service providers who help us operate our business (e.g. our CRM, IT and
    communication providers), under confidentiality obligations;
  • Meta Platforms, Inc., to the extent required to operate our Facebook Pages and
    Messenger;
  • regulators or authorities where required or authorised by law.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data storage & security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss,
and unauthorised access, including secured systems and access controls. No method of
transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as
required by law. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your
personal information — including data we received through Facebook/Messenger —
at any time by emailing us at

We will action verified requests within a reasonable time and, where applicable,
delete the associated Messenger conversation data we hold.

7. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may request access to and correction of
the personal information we hold about you, and you may make a privacy complaint. If you
are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian
Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to operate the site and understand usage. You can control
cookies through your browser settings.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above
shows when it was last revised.
